I saw Susie in the saddle, man I really flipped my wig
Wearing boots of shiny leather, Susie was a real gone chick
When she came on riding by
Her horse so white and her jeans so tight
I nearly lost my mind.
Imagine the sight of a girl in a night on a horse
Believe me my friend I went out of my head, I was lost
She went up and down - Susie in the saddle
Up and down now, was too much, too much
Up and down she went - Susie in the saddle
Up and down, down and up, down and up, hey!
I was under her spell and I knew that I feel in love
She was something to be only angels could be from above
I saw Susie in the saddle and I'll never be the same
Wearing boots of shiny leather
Susie was a real cool dame
Susie was a real cool dame
Susie in the saddle.
I saw Susie riding by and she wrote her name up in the sky
And I said Susie I got to say goodbye
All right Susie, I will never be the same again
Goodbye - I wish you well - Susie.
